Misbehaving at home

A replacement animation of a naibai vegetable being rolled out into a spring onion by a rolling pin, on a wooden chopping board. There is a checkered cloth under the board, and a rice cooker, bowls and rubber gloves in the background of the kitchen
Purple socks hanging from cloth pegs on a metal rod, which scrunch and roll up into yellow socks before they flash blue and yellow. A yellow checkered pair of socks hang next to the socks.

‘What prevents me from supposing that this table either vanishes or alters its shape when no one is observing it and then when someone looks at it again changes back? But one feels like saying – who is going to suppose such a thing?’ (Ludwig Wittgenstein, On Certainty 1949-51)

An ongoing series inspired by Paul Bush's Furniture Poetry.
